BurrellesLuce Names Cathy Del Colle to Top Client-Services Post, As Company Continues Expansion of Its Product OfferingsLIVINGSTON, NJ (October 14, 2008) —Cathy Del Colle, whose 21-year career with the company includes experience in sales, administration, and management, has been named senior vice president-client services of BurrellesLuce, the country's largest media monitoring and measurement provider.
The latest addition to its services is the introduction of streaming video on the BurrellesLuce 2.0 web portal, which allows easy access to broadcast television news stories containing keywords clients have asked BurrellesLuce to track for them. The new service covers all 210 DMAs in the United States. TV content is captured for BurrellesLuce by either VMS or Critical Mention, depending on a client's preference. "Thoughtful, responsive client service has long been a hallmark of BurrellesLuce," said Steve Shannon, the company's executive vice president. "Cathy Del Colle's working knowledge of PR professionals' monitoring needs, and the close relationship she has developed with many practitioners over the years will help us to reinforce our already strong competitive position." Del Colle joined what was then Burrelle's in 1987, after having earned a bachelor's degree in marketing. She started as a sales associate, specializing in fashion and higher education. The following year, she was named regional sales manager for the Washington, DC, area. Del Colle has been directly involved in client services since 1996, when she returned to the company's headquarters in Livingston, NJ. During her tenure in the nation's capital, Del Colle sat on the board of Washington Women in Public Relations, which she also served as membership coordinator and, in 1995, as president. She remains an honorary member of the organization. About BurrellesLuce
